Spiral fruit and vegetable juicers are widely popular in the food production field. To compare work efficiency and procurement costs, it is necessary to understand the working principle of the equipment before purchasing. For ease of understanding, the following will introduce its working steps from a professional perspective.

Feeding
The feeding device, composed of a feeding hopper and a propeller, is designed in a funnel shape, generally inclined at 60°-75°, which can ensure the smooth entry of fruit and vegetable materials. Then, the propeller pushes them to the screw pressing area, where the smooth inner wall ensures the smooth progress of the materials.
Screw pressing
The pressing system adopts a screw pressing method, consisting of a screw shaft and a pressing cylinder. Blades are arranged on the screw shaft. The pitch from the feed port to the discharge port gradually decreases and the diameter gradually increases, so that the material is squeezed more and more during the advancement process, ensuring that the juice is extracted to the maximum extent.
Filter
The screen surrounding the screw press system can complete the filtration. The screen has a porous structure, which intercepts the fruit and vegetable fibers inside the screen, and the juice flows out from the mesh holes.
Slag discharge
The filtered fruit and vegetable fibers are discharged from the residue discharge device and will be squeezed again in the residue discharge area to collect the juice to the maximum extent.

The above is the entire working process of the commercial screw-type fruit and vegetable juicer. Each step is interconnected to ensure efficient juicing.
Only by understanding the working principle of the equipment can we use it better and facilitate daily maintenance work, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the fruit and vegetable juicer.
